Showcasing the largest online collection of textile designers

Patternbank started as an inspirational design blog , and has evolved into an unrivalled collection of textile designers. Patternbank sells the finest handcrafted designs from a curated selection of highly skilled textile designs and artists. They also create inspirational print trend reports and provide consultancy to some of the biggest companies in the industry, including the likes of Nike, Marks&Spencer, Paperchase, Next and many more.

The Patternbank Studio houses an extensive collection of over 41,000 designs for instant download and use. Buyers can browse the collection through trend stories, design categories, colour groups or license formats.

The textile and print industry is constantly evolving and changing. Patternbank strives to deliver more than expected and challenge old ways of thinking. They’re disrupting the fashion print business model. Now, instead of walking large, soulless trade show halls, you can purchase textile or surface pattern designs from the comfort of your own workspace or office.

“It is always a pleasure to work with CookiesHQ. They are very methodical and the quality of work is excellent. Probably the finest Ruby on Rails developers in the South West.”

- Andrew Limbert, Co-founder of Patternbank

Taking over an existing codebase

Andrew, a Co-founder of Patternbank, first met us back in 2014, when their previous source of development fell through. Consistently innovative, they required an agency that could tackle the existing code, hone their ideas and bring them to life.

Over the past few years, CookiesHQ and Patternbank have worked together to create a modern, fully-featured site that fulfils the needs of the designers and customers who use it. The textile and surface design industry is increasingly going digital and we come together two or three times a year to discuss growing trends and identify innovative solutions to Patternbank’s business problems.

By planning several iterations of development, spread across the year, Patternbank are able to regularly deliver new and creative features to their users. Releasing consistent updates helps to keep the site fresh and exciting, and ensure they always remain one step ahead of their competitors.
