What to expect?

Our app development process

We have a simple four step process to help you build and launch your big idea – on time and in budget. You can feel confident that you’ll see real progress happening from day one, and you’ll always be kept in the loop on the development of your app through weekly meetings as we build.

STEP 1: THE DISCOVERY SESSION

Get to know each other

We start with a discovery session – a day of exploring your product idea together with our designers, developers and business experts.

We’ll examine your proposition: Target market, features, monetisation model, metrics, growth plans.

The aim is to validate all aspects of your project and ultimately, determine what should be, and more importantly what shouldn’t be included in your MVP.

We know there’s significant risk in building the wrong thing. This is why we believe this is the most important phase in any project.

STEP 2: TECHNICAL DELIVERY PLAN

A clear plan of action

Following our discovery session, we produce a technical delivery plan, detailing user stories and our recommended choice of technologies and software, as well as an outline of the design and development sprints.

Your project requirements and your users come first when determining our recommendations for the tech stack. We will build a pragmatic launch plan, taking into account your deadlines and budget.

Technical recommendations, Epics and Features plan, high-level user flows and hight-level database schema, everything is included, so we’re sure we’re both inline with the product that needs building.

With a strong plan in place, you now have a clear idea of how we intend to bring your concept to life.

STEP 3: The Agile Build

Working together

The next step is to find the right people to work on your project. Our teams usually include a back-end developer, a front-end developer, a designer and a project manager, who work by your side for the whole duration of the project.

Working according to an Agile methodology in two-week sprints, we start to build your app one story at a time. You will be able to follow our progress in real-time thanks to our daily release to your test environments. You will meet multiple times a week with our project manager and at least once per sprint with the whole team to ensure that, not only your product is moving in the right direction, but also to ensure that our team is constantly aligned with your goals and can take a proactive approach in their recommendations.

You will get to know us, we will get to know you, and, together we will build something successful.

STEP 4: LAUNCH & BEYOND

Maintenance & support as you scale

The launch of your project doesn’t bring our collaboration to an end.

When your application is launched, as your technical partners, we will help you analyse user feedback, refine future development phases and scale your product based on your business and customers needs.

We typically work on further improvements in 10 days sprints, launching new features incrementally. We’re also sometimes called be represented as CTOs on investment deck.

Then, when the time comes to build your own in house team, we will help you recruit the right people and ensure a smooth handover. And you can feel confident knowing we’ve built a codebase they’re going to love working on.
